This page is specifically devoted to the upcoming Mature Singles Social Group,
St. Jacob's Geocaching Event.

And to those of you who are intending on joining us, please check back here prior to heading out to see if there is any late breaking news.
No Geocaching experience is required.
This Meetup is primarily intended for people new to Geocaching.
However, if you're a cacher please feel free to join in and help out.

To be entirely upfront this is not my usual M.O.
Normally I do a presentation and incorporate some geocaching into the presentation. That said, most of what I talk about is contained in the Geocaching pages of this (my) web site (note: it's a work in progress). So if you want to learn a bit about Geocaching before we head out please feel free to browse. And if you have any questions either click on the Contact Me button above or visit the Forum and post your question, suggestion there.

The caches marked with yellow arrows will be the ones we will be concentrating on.
These are called 'traditional' caches i.e. 'treasure hunt' type caches.

The one with the orange arrow is called a 'multi cache'. It's more like a scavenger hunt with each stage providing a clue as to how to reach the final cache. This will be for the returning group. They can check this out at geocaching.com by searching for GC21MB4. It's called 'The Lights of St. Jacobs'.

The caches with the blue arrows are both traditional and multi with a puzzle cache (? mark) thrown in. These are not part of the event but are shown to let you know of other caches in the immediate area. Most are quite easy. The three along the river to the right are set in wonderful surroundings.
