My love of Waterloo is surpassed only by my love of the Region of Waterloo. As someone who lived for 30 years in a city of 5 million I can't tell you how good it feels to be able to be in the country in 5 minutes. To have neighbours as opposed to people who live next door. People talk to each other here and they're friendly, not in your hip pocket kind of way but always there, willing to give a hand.
