So during the retirement planning seminar we were told one area where we'd save money was on clothes. Retirees don't need as many new clothes. Well I was skeptical but turns out they were right.
But what they didn't say was that you also wouldn't need most of the clothes you already have.

Over the years I've amassed a significant collection of quality designer clothing. These were sparingly worn and meticulously cared for. And, OK some no longer fit, sigh.

So in my current, if you aren't using it then let someone else, state, I am offering these items for sale.
As you will soon see I am not a photographer. I tried to photograph all of these in natural light with the result that a lot of the colour washed out as did a lot of the texture. That's really unfortunate because each item has a special blend of both. The really disappointing shots are of the Armani Collezioni jacket which is arguably the finest piece in this collection. Photos don't do it (or the others for that matter) justice. You really have to come and see them for yourself. And should you wish to do so just send me a message via the Contact Me button above.
A tip - I've kept the photos large so you can better see the items. Consequently navigating will become a pain unless you use the sidebar menu on the right and the 'top of page' arrow.

Used to live in Toronto. At the corner of Yorkville and Avenue Rd. there stood for years a prestigous coat store called Bart. One day, after much searching, I bought this bomber jacket. I ended up never wearing it except for a couple of times. It isn't me I was told but maybe it's you? I forget what kind of leather it is but as I recall it's exotic and is very soft and supple. I love the detail to this day. It's lined of course and as you can see it comes with an optional shearling collar that can be zipped off. Original price was over $1200. It, like the other items here, it is in mint condition. Very, very comfortable.

The actual colour is a cross between all three of these photos. Size 56 Euro = 40 Cdn. These cord's are both stylish and comfortable.

My going to New York outfit. Bought two pairs of trousers and a stunning jacket from the famed Giorgio Armani - Le Collezioni at Holt Renfrew. The pants are wool, are lined and cuffed. Size 40. The photos allude to the texture but don't quite capture the colour which I'm finding hard to describe. Slate perhaps?

The second pair of Giorgio Armani - Le Collezioni pants from Holt Renfrew. The pants are wool, are lined and cuffed. Size 40. Both Armani pants can be fairly described as full. No taper whatsoever = comfort in my books.

I am so disappointed with these photos as this is the prize of the collection and doesn't show it. This is the jacket that goes with the pants, all purchased at Holt Renfrew in Toronto. The jacket is like a fine cord but soft, almost plush. It is comfortable beyond belief. The true colour is dark brown, again not like what is shown. Furthermore I have no idea what's going on with the photo of the back of this jacket as it is pristine. Really you have to see this to appreciate it. Put it on and I dare you to take it off. Just a great look with both of the pants.
Pal Zileri - cotton, shirt, off white   50

Wore this shirt exactly once, to a friend's daughter's wedding. From the get-go it was too tight for me despite the stipulated size (42/16.5). There is texture to this 100% cotton shirt. The actual colour is somewhere between what you see in the two photos.
Barezzi - blended, mystery jacket, light brown   35

One day I'm walking home and there is a new men's clothing store at the corner of my street. I went in to have a look and came out with this, this, this what the heck is this? I'm 5'10" and this very loose fitting self-described 42 comes down practically to my knees. The material is great, definitely summer, but I don't have a clue how or when to wear it. Hopefully you will.
Tommy Bahama - silk, trousers, black   25

Now these I did wear but you won't notice any wear. The pants are not cuffed and like all my clothes, comfortable. Size 40.
Calabretta - light wool, dress pants, black   50

These pants were purchased off Bloor at one of my favourite men's stores, Nicholas. The staff swore by them saying they all wore them. They turned out to be a bit too dressy for my usual wear so they are hardly worn. The material is light wool but you'd never know. That was part of the charm for these guys as they said they just wore and wore on. Size 40. And again please ignore the extraneous marks. They simply aren't there.
Mavi - cotton twill, low rise jeans, black   35

These are fun jeans. Low rise, boot cut. Size 38. They are black and not washed out as the bottom two photos suggest. 100% cotton but I'd say cotton twill as they are robust.

I have a Stussy jacket which I've had for years. If you're not familiar with them they started as a California surf shop. This might explain the 'Have a Good Vibe' message with the laundry instructions.
