Not talking about this type of domain. Came across this castle while geocaching one day along the Grand River Trail - yet another reason to love geocaching, you never know what you'll find. There's a mistaken impression that this was built from an existing silo. In fact it was built from the ground up. Construction started in 1968 and for a while it was a tourist attraction. Sadly it is no longer but work was being done on it the day I was there so someone is using it. All I was able to find out is that it is based on the fortifications of the Milckau Castle in Milckau, Saxony.
